With Kodely
Course: Prototyping in Play – PK/K
Course Description: From an early age, getting students to exercise their muscles around problem-solving and computational thinking helps them become well-rounded innovators. Through each Kodely workshop, students walk through a simulated design challenge and explore how to empathize and understand the needs of others, identify problems, brainstorm and generate ideas, and finally, learn how to test and evaluate their ideas using prototypes.

Course: Coding with Empathy: 1st to 3rd
Course Description: Students will learn to code and work with cool sensors using the micro:bit to build a new project every week! From a young age, Kodely students will learn about technology through a lens of user empathy and design. We teach our students the skills taught at top universities like Stanford d.school to think like a designer and take their technical skills beyond what they’ve learned in a classroom setting and apply them to the real world.

Course: Coding with Empathy: 4th/5th grade
Course Description: Students code and design their vision of a Smart City through new projects every week! They work with cool LEDs and sensors and get hands-on with both software and hardware. Give your child a head start and introduce them to the skills used by product designers and engineers at companies like Microsoft and Apple.
