Art class for adults

bleu, jaune, rouge…: we are offering you a new way to practice French! Explore your creativity with art classes, combining drawing, painting techniques in acrylics, and collage. Learn about the stories of famous artists and get inspired by their art.

Under the supervision of our instructor, learn step by step the techniques to create your own masterpieces in a relaxed atmosphere. Classes will cover:

color mixing and color theory

how to make washes, layering, gradients, color blocks

how to work with mixed media artworks (collage, paint)

introduction to major artists and art movements (impressionism, abstract to pop art)

different themes: botanical, landscape, still life…

All levels are welcome.
All materials provided, including paint, brushes, paper, or canvas.

Bring your apron.

5 weeks, 4-6pm

Dates: 11/01 to 12/06 – No class during Thanksgiving Week.
