About This Program:

Discover the process of painting, styling and composition using various media. Be inspired by masters, contemporary and local artists. Design and make original wearable art as well as accessories. Learn the process of transforming objects, visuals and materials. Have fun putting together a show/exhibit styling and modeling your innovative quality creations. Class open to K-6th grade.

Mireille Des Rosiers grew up in Canada before anchoring in San Diego. She obtained a B.A. from Université de Montréal, a Marketing degree from UCLA and studied Creative Process at UCSD. Since her professional debut in 1989, her paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, the Caribbean, Canada, and the U.S. Her latest work, a series of portraits of imaginative people’s faces was exhibited during the summer of 2008 in Bourges, France. She has also curated several exhibits and provided program art support as well as instructions to K-8 schools, individual students and fundraisers find designer consignment san diego. Mireille is the mother of two children at SDFAS.
